PPG AGM Poster
Since January 2010, Billericay Medical Practice has had a Patient Participation Group.
The Patient Group will help the practice make improvements to services to patients and work as an intermediary and liaison between patients and practice staff.
The group is non-political and is not there for individual patients to express personal complaints but is there as a way of helping to improve communication between patients and staff by assisting for example with the practice newsletter.
It is up to individuals in how much time they wish to put into the group. No training is required to be a member of the group, but it is important that members join because they are keen on helping the surgery and the local patient population.
Patient Participation Group Officers
Patient Participation Group members re-elected the following officers for 2017/2018:
Chair: Marion Wilson
Vice-Chair/Newsletter Editor John Wheeler
Secretary Margaret Dunn
Treasurer Jennifer Warren
