Patient Participation Group
Are you interested in finding out more about Aldborough Surgery?
Would you like to influence the development of your local health services?
The Surgery would like to invite you to join our Patient Group (PG).
The aim of the PG allows patients to give their perspective on the services we provide and as a result of this, allows us and the PG to develop realistic action points to enhance not only the services we offer, but general practice improvements.
Aldborough Surgery Patient Group regularly meet and work in partnership with the practice to:
- Help patients to take more responsibility for their own health
- Contribute towards the continuous improvement of services and quality of care
- Foster improved communication between the practice and its patients
- Provide practical support for the practice and help implement change
We also operate virtually - members are occasionally contacted via email to answer a few questions, raise points for discussion and agree action points.
The Patient Group are currently supporting the surgery to reduce the amount of wasted appointments through 'Did Not Attend'.
The second project is our reduce ‘Medicines Wastage Campaign’
