Community Midwives

If you have had a positive home pregnancy test you may self-refer to the Community Midwives. Please visit https://www.esht.nhs.uk/service/maternity/your-pregnancy/maternity-self-referral/

Community Nurses

The District nurses provide nursing care to those who are unable to get to the surgery. This could be for example, for dressings after an operation or if someone needs support during a long illness. They can be contacted direct on Hailsham 01323 464360. If they are out visiting you can leave a message on their answering machine

Health Visitors

Our health visitors take care of the very young and the elderly with their families in the area. They visit every newborn baby when a few weeks old and, together with your GP, ensure that all developmental checks are satisfactory. They can be contacted on Hailsham 01323 446991. You can leave a message on their answering machine if they are out on visits.
