Opening Times

The practice building is open Monday – Friday between 08:00 – 18:30.

Our telephone lines are open 08:00 – 18:00. Between 18:00 and 18:30 if you need to speak to a GP urgently you must call 0300 5555252.

Our eConsult service is open between 08:00 – 18:30.

Surgery appointments normally run Monday – Friday between 08:20 – 17:30 (all appointments must be pre-booked).

Closed for staff training

We are closed on Thursday 25th April from 12.30 for staff training. To ensure we maintain excellent standards so that we can achieve high levels of patient care and safety, it is vital that we provide training for all our staff this may be learning new skills or refresher courses. The planned closure will give us protected learning time. If you need to seek urgent medical advice from a GP during this time and you cannot wait until the following day, when we open again, please call the out of hours team on 01243 976960.

Dispensary

The dispensary is open at 08:00 - 1400 and 15:00 - 18:30 (except Tues - closes at 17:00)

Test Results

Test results organised by clinicians at Loxwood medical practice are available for you to view using the Airmid or NHS apps after they have been reviewed by the clinical team. Please allow 7 days between having a test and checking for results. You can also call the practice between 14:00 and 16:00

Tests organised by specialists will go back to them. You may be able to view the results using the NHS App. Contact your specialist team for further details.

When We Are Closed

If you need advice from a GP outside normal surgery hours, when the practice is closed, please use 111 online or dial 111 for all non-life threatening emergencies. In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Terminally ill or very frail elderly patients who are too ill to travel anywhere by car may be visited at home by arrangement, but please note that home visits are not a substitute for personal transport.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
