When We Are Closed

When the surgery is closed at night, Weekends or public holidays, if you think you need a doctor and it is too serious to wait for next surgery please telephone 1-1-1

The NHS 111 Service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, Calls from landlines and mobiles are free.

You can now call 111 when you need medical help fast, but it is not a 999 emergency. You will be assessed, given advice and directed straightaway to the local service to help you best.  That could be A&E, an Urgent Care Centre, or Minor Injuries Unit, an out of hours GP, community nurse, emergency dentist or late opening pharmacist.

For deaf people and those hard of hearing a textphone call to 18001 111 is available. If English is not your preferred language, simply say the language you wish to use when your call is answered.

Other Local Facilities

The nearest walk-in clinic is the Urgent Care Centre at New Cross Hospital.

The Accident and Emergency Department is also at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton - Telephone 307 999.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
