When We Are Closed

Should you require any medical attention outside of our normal surgery hours, please telephone 111.

Our opening hours are from 8am - 6pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and 8am - 1pm on Thursday.

(We close at lunchtime 1pm - 2pm but our telephones are ALWAYS manned by a duty receptionist). 
If you ring the surgery number out-of-hours you will hear a telephone message giving details of out- of-hours care.

The minor injuries department at Leek Moorlands Hospital is open every day from 8.00 - 20.00. Minor injuries and minor illnesses (e.g. throat infections) can be treated there but there is no doctor available. Telephone 01538 487104 to check if they can help you.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
