If you have an injury which is not serious and life threatening the Minor Injury Unit at Ilkeston Community Hospital can provide fast, effective treatment. Conditions treated include

- broken bones
- wound infections
- minor burns and scalds
- minor head injuries
- insect and animal bites
- minor eye injuries
- injuries to the back, shoulder and chest
You do not need an appointment and often the waiting time is a lot shorter than Accident and Emergency. You can see the live waiting times here.
The Minor Injury Unit is open from 8am to 10pm seven days a week with x-ray available 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
If you have a serious or life threatening injury please call 999 and ask for an ambulance as normal.
