We have a great opportunity for a Locum GP to work between 4 - 6 sessions a week to cover Maternity leave for 12 months from January 2020.
This post is initially fixed term with the potential for a permanent role due to our increasing list size. We are a friendly and patient centred practice and we have 3 Clinical Partners a Managing Partner and 6 Associate GP’s, with a list size of over 11,600 patients, which is growing rapidly.

Maternity locum GP post - St Augustine’s Medical Practice

Maternity locum GP post: 4 sessions per week (Monday and Thursdays) - St Augustine’s
Medical Practice, Keynsham and Saltford 

We are a friendly, training practice with 4 partners, 6 salaried GPs, GP trainees, Nurse
practitioners and an excellent nursing and administrative team. We are looking for a GP to
cover a 4 session maternity locum starting on November 18th 2019 and finishing early to
mid-January 2020.

We know that having variety in your working life is an extremely important way to prevent
burn out. In recognition of this we would be keen for you to be involved in teaching GP
trainees and Physician Assistants. We would also actively encourage and support you to
perform joint injections and contraceptive procedures depending on your interests. Please
talk to our current salaried GP’s about how they find working with us.

Sessions: 4 clinical sessions per week, Mondays & Tuesdays
Job Purpose: Provide medical services to a variety of patients in accordance with the practice Personal Medical Services (PMS) contract.

The practice is well placed in central Bath working from a Grade 1 listed Georgian town house with a large additional branch site in Bathampton. You will join a thriving and happy practice of over
11,000 patients with 6 General Practitioners, a Nurse Practitioner, an Advanced Care Practitioner and a full NHS complimentary team. There are 2 in-house pharmacies and a full NHS dental practice on site. We operate a GP telephone triage system at the practice using the TPP SystmOne clinical system.
