15/11/2017- Patient Participation Group

We are planing to hold next Patient Participation Group meeting on 6th of December 5.30-6.30pm.

01/11/2017- NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in Norfolk and Waveney wish to engage with local patients to advise how additional appointments available at local GP surgeries should develop over the coming years. The CCGs developed a patient survey asking for our patients thoughts and feedback. 01/09/2017- Flu Vaccination

We will be holding open clinics for all patients who are eligible for a vaccination. Our first clinics will be held at the surgery on;

22nd of November 3pm-4.45pm

No need to book just turn up between these times and you will be seen.

Children's flu clinic 2017/18

Flu clinics will be held on the 17th and 24th of October between 4.30-6pm. Our staff will ring you to make an appointment if your child is eligible to have a flu vaccination at the surgery. Children in reception class and school years 1,2,3 and 4 will have their flu vaccinations at school.

25/08/2017- Medication delivery service changes

Dear Patient

We would like to inform you about some changes that we are making to our home/remote delivery service.

Due to the increasing numbers of patients using our free delivery service and the higher demand on the Community team who use the surgery van for home visits, we have decided to change the time when we deliver your medication.

As of Monday 18th September we will no longer be delivering in the afternoon.  All deliveries will be between 9.00am and 12:00pm on your usual day of delivery, to the usual location.

If your medication is delivered to one of the remote locations (Mileham, Gressenhall or Castle Acre Shop) then you will be required to sign a collection confirmation sheet when picking up your medication. This is a security measure to provide us with clarification of who collected the prescription and when.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but it was a necessary change for us to be able to carry on providing our delivery service and to continue to provide our high standard of care to all our patients.

If you require any further information then please do not hesitate to call the dispensary, where they will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

24/04/2017- Car Park

Please note that a staff car park is now moved to the bottom of the car park and patients are welcome to park their cars at the front of the surgery. The change has been made following a suggestion that it may be easier and quicker for patients to access the surgery this way. We are looking forward to hear from you if you like this change or not?

07/04/2017- Telephone System

Please be aware that our telephone system now has been updated to record all telephone calls for training and security purposes.

05/03/2017- Patient Participation Group

We are planing to hold next Patient Participation meeting on 5th of April 6.30-7.30pm.

05/03/2017- On Wednesday 8th of March

Litcham Health Centre will have central telephone maintenance work carried out. At some point during the day all the phones will be switched off for a short period of time.

30/01/2017- Patient Participation Group

Our Patient Participation meeting is an open access group for all patients and meet once a quarter. Our last one was on the 30th of November 2016 and we like to thank all those who attended.

Please do come, bring ideas, point out things that could be done better and be part of the team.

The next meeting is Wednesday evening 1st of March 2017 6.30-7.30 pm.- cancelled (a new date will be set up soon)

23/01/2017- Care Quality Commission Report 

The Care Quality Commission has found the quality of care provided by Litcham Health centre to be Outstanding following on the inspection carried out in November 2016.

Inspectors rated the practice as Outstanding for effectiveness, responsiveness, well- led and caring.

We were rated as Good for safety.

20/01/2017- Winter Pressure Clinic

Surgery opens up to realise Qeen Elizabeth Hospital who is under several pressure this winter and added some extra clinic on Wednesday between 14:00- 16:00.
