Friends and Family Test
Would You Recommend Our Services To Your Friends & Family?
The NHS friends and family test (FFT) is an important opportunity for you to provide feedback on the care and treatment you receive and to improve services. It was introduced in 2013 and asked patients whether they would recommend hospital wards, A&E departments and maternity services to their friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment.
From December 1st 2014, it is a contractual requirement that GP practices undertake the FFT. We will be doing this by sending texts to our patients and making feedback slips available in the practice.
You will be asked:
“We would like you to think about your recent experience of our service. How likely are you to recommend our GP practice to friend and family if they need similar care or treatment?” The response options are ‘Extremely likely’, ‘Likely’, ‘Neither likely nor unlikely’, ‘Unlikely’, ‘Extremely unlikely’ or ‘Don’t know’.
Your answer is voluntary. But if you do answer, your feedback will provide valuable information for our surgery to celebrate good practice, and identify opportunities to make improvements.
Your answer CANNOT be traced back to you, and your details CANNOT be passed on to anyone. For this reason please do not ask us to address a specific issue for you via this feedback as we really have no idea who is making the comment.
We collate the responses from the FFT on a monthly basis and the results are sent to NHS England and the report is published below and available at the practice.
