Intermediate Gynaecology Service
FedBucks' Intermediate Gynaecology Service has been designed to provide expert advice in community settings, reducing the inconvenience to patients. Clinical teams from hospitals' gynaecology departments work alongside local GPs with gynaecological experience to deliver an innovative service near to home.
This service started in 2009 and now offers over 250 appointments per month in the following locations:
GP's refer into our service on a daily basis using the NHS's e-referral service.
Patients feedback about our service is really positive. Recent analysis of patient satisfaction questionnaires showed 95% of patients attending rated our service as good or excellent.
