Child Health
Health checks are carried out by the doctor when a child is eight weeks old at the post natal check appointment.
Minor Surgery
Both these services are carried out by the Doctor by appointment at a special designated clinics. Please ask the reception team for further details.
Ante-Natal Clinic
For the care of expectant mothers this clinic is held by the community midwife at the Strelley Health Centre.
Family Planning
Advice on all aspects of family planning is given by the doctor who will be pleased to discuss to options available to you.
Counsellor
This service can be arranged for you by the Doctor.
Physiotherapist
The Practice have in-house Physiotherapists who hold weekly clinics. You may also be referred to the Physiotherapy Department by the GP
Social Service
Will be happy to help you with problems relating to housing, finance and caring for the young, elderly or disabled, if you are having difficulty coping. Single parent families may also find it helpful to discuss their situation with the local Social Worker.
Statement of Fitness to Work Certificate
If you are absent from work for less than seven days you should ask your employer for a self-certification form when you return to work. The doctor will only issue a statement of fitness to work certificate if you are absent from work for more than seven days.
