We currently have 2 partners off work long term and there is a lack of available locum doctors. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused, we are all working extremely hard and are hoping things will soon improve.

No routine appointments will be available and GPs and nurses will only see patients with an urgent problem.


NHSScotland is improving the way it uses information from GP patient records. SPIRE is a service that will allow small amounts of information from GP practice records to be used to help doctors' surgeries, NHSScotland and the Scottish Government to improve care and plan services, and to help researchers to learn more from patient information held at GP practices.

A new campaign is underway to inform patients across Scotland of the benefits of the service, and the confidential and secure way in which GP patient records will be used to help plan and improve health care services.

Opening Times

The reception desk is open during the following hours:

Monday–Friday 8:30am–6:00pm

for making appointments, ordering repeat prescriptions and other routine matters.

The reception is also open by phone only for emergencies between 8:00–8:30am.

Surgery Hours

The doctors are available for consultations Monday to Friday. The usual clinic times are 08.30–10.00, 10.30–12.00 and 3:30pm to 5:30pm but there are other times available.

Most appointments are 10 minutes

The practice holds late evening surgeries on a Wednesday from 17:30 – 18:45.

Appointments for clinics are booked through Reception.

You may choose which doctor you see. We encourage continuity of care and ask that you try to see the same doctor for follow up during an illness or medical problem.

There may be occasions e.g. holidays or urgent appointments when you may not be able to see the doctor of your choice.
