Friends & Family Test

Please spend a few minutes completing our Friends & Family test

The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) was created to help service providers and commissioners understand whether their patients are happy with the service provided, or where improvements are needed. It is a quick and anonymous way to give your views after receiving care or treatment across the NHS.
Since its launch in 2013, more than 25 million pieces of patient feedback have been submitted. The FFT has been rolled out across most NHS services, including community care, hospitals, mental health services, maternity services, GP and dental practices, emergency care, patient transport and more.

Information on Fit Notes (previously called Sick Notes)

Health Visitor/School Nurse Access to Child's Medical Records

In future your Health Visitor and School Nurse will have shared access to the GP’s medical notes on the electronic record system for your child until they are 6 years old. This share will automatically be removed on your child's 6th birthday. If you do not want the Health Visitor or School Nurse to see the GP records then let your GP surgery know. There may be circumstances where, if we are concerned that your child may be at risk of harm we will need to share information without your consent. In most cases we would let you know that we had to do this.
