New Patient Registration
We welcome new patients to register with us. If you wish to join the practice please bring your medical card (and those of your immediate family who also wish to register) completed and signed to the surgery. You will be asked to complete a health questionnaire, dispensing form and child health surveillance form (for children under 5 years old) if applicable. We would like you to make an appointment with one of our nurses for a health check when you register. We can only accept patients who live within our Practice area.
You will be registered with one of the Partners in the practice. This is an administrative exercise as any patient registered with us is free to see whichever doctor they choose. If you feel strongly about being registered with a specific partner please contact the practice manager.
If you are temporarily living in the area (for up to 3 months), you can apply to register as a Temporary Resident.
Private Patients and Foreign Visitors
Foreign visitors may be treated as private patients. Please enquire about the current fee scale for this. Visitors from some countries are entitled to NHS treatment as temporary residents. Please ask for details.
Guide to GP Services
The Royal College of General Practitioners has produced a useful guide for patients about the services on offer at GP Surgeries and how to access them. You can download the guide below.
