econsult

If you are completing an eConsult for another person - proxy eConsult - please note that we may not be able to respond to you with information regarding that person without their consent.

The eConsult service is intended for our patients who are in the UK at the time of using e-Consult and not for those who are overseas for any reason.  Please refer to our News Section for further details.

Please submit one eConsult per problem.

THE NORMAL RESPONSE TIME FOR E-CONSULT IS 2 WORKING DAYS - PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE SURGERY TO CHASE YOUR RESPONSE BEFORE THIS TIME.   ALL URGENT CONSULTS WILL BE CONTACTED SOONER.

Consultation Times

Surgeries are held each weekday between 8.40am - 6.00pm although all Drs are not available at all times.

Appointments

At this time, all GP appointments are via the eConsult service.  Please click the link on our homepage to access this service

Nurse appointments are carried out both by telephone and face-to-face depending on the type of appointment required.

Please note that all telephone calls to the Practice and any outgoing calls from Reception are recorded for training purposes.

Cancellations

If you cannot keep your appointment, please let the surgery know as soon as possible so that it can be re-allocated to someone else.

On average 4% of all our GPs and Nurse appointments are not attended by the patient. Over the course of a year this amounts to a significant number of wasted appointments and contributes greatly to waiting times to see your GP or nurse. Please see the notices in surgery for up-to-date cancellation figures.

Please help us reduce this figure by cancelling an appointment you cannot attend.

Extended Access

GP Practices in this area are making it easier for you to make appointments at times which suit you.  From October 2017 all practices in South East Hampshire and Fareham and Gosport - including ours - will take part in a new scheme to allow you to make appointments from 8am to 8pm on week days, from 8am to 4.30pm on Saturdays and on Sunday mornings.

This extends the normal opening hours for surgeries which until now have usually run until 6.30pm on weekday evenings.

If you need to see someone we will be able to offer you an appointment at your local 'hub' location - they are located at Swan Surgery, Petersfield ,Waterlooville Health Centre, Fareham Community Hospital , Forton Health centre and East Stoke Surgery, Porchester.
