Stour Surgery Patients' Circle
The Patients' Circle is a group of patients who provide a valuable link between the patients and the staff of Stour Surgery. They assist the surgery by representing the views of patients to the Doctors and management of Stour Surgery. This enables good communication between staff and patients and means the patients' views can be taken into account when planning the future.
Also the group arrange functions, in particular a Christmas Bazaar and Summer Fete held at the premises to raise funds to help provide additional equipment not normally available for the benefit of patients. In the recent past the Circle has provided an audiometer to assist with hearing diagnosis and an ophthalmic light box for eyesight testing. A moveable adjustable treatment couch has been provided for the open surgery treatment room and an additional refrigerator to store vulnerable vaccines.
Details of the Patients' Circle are included on 'Stour News' which is published periodically and available from reception.New helpers are always welcome so if you feel like being a part of this supportive group, please contact the surgery.
