Online access disabled

As part of our clinical software migration unfortunately access to our online system will be disabled from 9th April.  Your current logon and user details will no longer be valid from this date.  Our new online access will be available from Monday 30th April and patients will need to re-register for this service.  You can do this by presenting at the surgery to obtain your new log on details.

We apologise for the loss of service from 9th April to 30th April however this is a necessary and unavoidable part of our clinical software change.

Late Night Appointments

We are pleased to announce that we now have late night opening on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to 8pm for nurse and Healthcare Assistant appointments.  We hope this will prove beneficial to patients who struggle to make a day time nurse appointments.  You can see our Healthcare Assistants Danielle & Jessica for the following: BP's, Healthchecks, Dementia Screening, Vascular checks, Stroke/TIA checks, Hearing Tests, Mental Health Reviews, Dopplers, B12 injections, ECG's.

Appointments

A small number of online appointments are available to book. This includes onlline booking for telephone appointments.

We continue to have a very high number of patients who fail to attend appointments they have made each day so please do remember to cancel so they can be offered to other patients who may really need them . You can cancel your appointments online.

New Appointment System and Access

On the 30th June 2014 the surgery started a phased introduction of a new appointment system. We now have an increased number of same day access appointments and telephone slots available for you to book.

We will also be reviewing our prebookable appointments soon.

Our new telephone system was introduced in late August 2014 and we now have one number for all our sites. This is 01964 613221. Please listen carefully to the options to help us direct your call to the appropriate department.

We are currently undertaking a  full review of the Acute Same Day service which include analysing data and access to appointments over a further 4 week period. We will again be asking for patient feedback on your journey from making an appointment to leaving the consultation to see how this has changed since our inital review in September 2014.

Thank you for your support during the change process.
