PRACTICE MANAGER

Due to the upcoming retirement of their current manager in September 2018, St. Agnes Surgery is looking to recruit a Practice Manager with strong strategic and organisational skills to lead the practice and manage its future development.

The surgery is a friendly semi-rural, 4.5 partner GMS practice with a list size of 8100 patients, covering two sites. The partners are looking for a resourceful, enthusiastic and highly accomplished manager with a passion for primary care. Candidates will need to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of HR, IT and financial management. Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills together with an ability to manage their own workload of multiple tasks under pressure are also necessities.

The successful candidate will be motivated and proactive in bringing forward new initiatives together with general practice management duties to ensure the smooth running of the surgery. A proven track record of these skills would be advantageous. They will also have the capability to adapt and manage change for the surgery in a transforming primary care landscape and work collaboratively with the local group of practices.

The selected candidate will receive a thorough hand over from the current practice manager.
