Care Quality Commission

The purpose of the CQC is to ensure that health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high quality care and to encourage services to improve. Their role is to monitor, inspect and regulate services to ensure that fundamental standards are met. All GP surgeries will be inspected on a bi-annual basis.
