Rationing NHS Care

We believe that there are enough resources to give people good care, provided that we do not use resources wastefully.

Some procedures are no longer available on the NHS, for example those concerned with appearance alone, and a choice has been made to no longer support this from taxation. We believe that people should be told if resources are no longer being made available to care for them, and we will tell people when we believe this is happening. It would be unethical to conceal this from our patients, who are financing the service through taxation, and in whose name we are delivering this public service.
