Wellington Road Family Practice welcomes anyone from the local community

Drs Nick and Kate Mansfield took over the practice in June 2007 and changed the name to Wellington Road Family Practice.

Following Dr. Nick's retirement and Dr. Kate's sad death, the practice was passed to Cadbury Heath Healthcare to administer.  The partnership team at Cadbury Heath have many years' experience of running a GP practice and have an excellent history in providing high quality healthcare in that area.

The nursing and reception team remain the same with new staff employed in 2021 to recognise the increasing range of services that we can now provide.

Our Vision

At this Practice we welcome anyone from the local community.

We aim to:

  • Provide excellent quality personal healthcare in the community.
  • Treat you with honesty, courtesy and respect and ask that you please do the same for us.

We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.

CHANGES TO OUR OPEN ACCESS SURGERIES

If you need help please ring 01454 323366 on the morning or afternoon that you wish to be contacted during our open access hours 8.30am - 10.30am and 3.00pm - 5.00pm with the exception of Thursday afternoons when we are closed.

A receptionist will need to ask you some questions. They are here to help and support you so please cooperate with the practice staff at all times. If the receptionist is unable to deal with your enquiry themselves, they will add your name to a list for the most appropriate person, either a doctor or a nurse to ring you back.  The doctor or nurse will ring you in order to triage and decide whether you need to be seen or not. If they decide you need to be seen, you will be asked to attend the surgery later that morning or afternoon having been given an appointment time.

Our telephone lines may be busy so please bear with us during this difficult time. Thank you.

Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
