A New Medical Centre for Clipstone and Forest Town

Our existing health centre has served us well but we are now chronically short of space and require a new, purpose-built medical centre from which we can best serve the needs of our patients.

Thank you to all of you who have taken the time to tell us what you think about the proposals. We've had nearly 900 responses and 90% have said they support the development, 7% to some extent and 3% don't support the development. There have also been lots of helpful comments which we have reviewed and will take into account as things progress.

Update

We are delighted to announce that NHS England have now given their approval for our building project. We will shortly be applying for planning permission and if all goes to plan, building should commence in the autumn and take about a year to complete.

Electronic Prescribing

You can now have your prescriptions sent electronically to a pharmacy of your choice. You don't need to come to the practice to collect your repeat prescription, saving you lots of time. Your prescription will be ready for collection in 48 hours, your prescription will be sent directly to your nominated pharmacy. Please allow 24 hours for the pharmacy to process the request.  If you want to sign up just ask your pharmacist or ask a member of staff. For more details click here

Patient Survey for 2012/13

We have now completed our 2012/13 patient survey. You can see the full results by clicking here and you can read what we're planning to do in light of the results by going on the Patient Group section of the website. There'll also be an article about this in the next newsletter coming out soon.

To register you need to sign up at reception with photo ID (let us know if you haven't got photo ID and there are other forms of ID we can accept). When you've done that, click on the "systmonline" logo above to go to the website and follow the instructions from there.

On this website you can book and cancel appointments, order repeat prescriptions and access further options.
