Noticeboard

On Thursday 24th October the practice will be closed from 12 noon for staff training. Should you require urgent medical assistance during the time of our closure please contact 111.  Please ensure you collect any medication from your usual practice before 12 noon.

Online access 

Your online access registration details are now available from our reception teams at St Nicholas', St Patrick's and Hodgson Lane Surgeries. Please ensure you bring in your identification i.e passport or driving license to enable us to release this information. 

Late Night Appointments

We are pleased to announce that we now have late night opening on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to 8pm for nurse and Healthcare Assistant appointments.  We hope this will prove beneficial to patients who struggle to make a day time nurse appointments.  You can see our Healthcare Assistants Danielle & Jessica for the following: BP's, Healthchecks, Dementia Screening, Vascular checks, Stroke/TIA checks, Hearing Tests, Mental Health Reviews, Dopplers, B12 injections, ECG's. 

Appointments

A small number of online appointments are available to book. This includes online booking for telephone appointments.

We continue to have a very high number of patients who fail to attend appointments they have made each day so please do remember to cancel so they can be offered to other patients who may really need them . You can cancel your appointments online. 

 

We are introducing an improved appointment system from 30th September to help us to provide the best care for you. Welcome to the website of South Holderness Medical Practice. The practice provides NHS and some private medical services from three purpose-built surgeries in South East Holderness. The surgeries are located in Withernsea, Patrington and Roos and all have disabled access.

Six GPs, trainee GPs, 4 Nurse Practioners, a team of nurses, a practice pharmacist and a team of trained dispensers provide the medical services. The doctors are involved in both the Spurn Point and Withernsea lifeboats & have a long tradition of training junior doctors and students. The practice is an active member of the East Riding Clinical Commissioning Group.

This website provides information on the services we offer, online appointment booking, online ordering of repeat medication, how to access to your medical records online , information on additional services that are available locally, health & lifestyle information & the latest news from the surgery. For services available at the practice such as prescriptions and appointment booking please select an option from the list on the left. Drop in Sexual Health Clinics on Tuesdays 5pm til 7.15pm

Clinics for women and men are available in Withernsea thanks to Conifer sexual and reproductive healthcare services, run by City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) in association with East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Public Health team.

All clinics will offer free and confidential advice and treatment, including screening for sexually transmitted infections, contraception (including the Pill, patch, implant and injection and a booked ‘coil’ clinic once a month), free condoms, pregnancy testing and advice and guidance.
