Patients in the following groups are entitled to a free flu vaccination each year. We publish our dates in early September, so keep an eye out!

  • Patients over 65
  • Those aged six months to under 65 years in clinical risk groups
  • Pregnant ladies

Minor Surgery

A special clinic is held for minor surgical procedures. Please make an appointment with your doctor for an initial assessment, after which you will be placed on the waiting list and notified by letter when a date can be offered to you for your minor surgery.

Minor Injury Service

We are also pleased to offer a dedicated Minor Injuries Service. This service is run by our team of nurses and supported by our GPs. If you or someone you are with suffers from a minor injury (laceration, fall, bite etc) you can attend the surgery straight away for an appointment. Phoning helps us to make necessary arrangements to treat you but is not essential. We hope you find this service reduces unnecessary visits to A&E.

An exclusion from our minor injuries service is suspected broken bones. We do not have X-ray equipment on site so would need to refer any patients attending with a suspected broken bone on to the larger hospitals.
