The practice nurses provide advice and vaccination for all foreign travels. Please complete a holiday questionnaire (available from reception) and return it to the surgery at least eight weeks before you intend to travel. The nurse will then check if you require any vaccinations and any necessary appointments can be made.
Please note from 1st May 2014 we will no longer offer Yellow Fever Vaccinations. Some vaccinations may incur a charge.
If you require Malaria medication we will provide a private script for you to take to a pharmacy of your choice. This enables you to shop around for the best price.
Information about countries and vaccinations required can be found on the links below:
It is important to make the initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travelto allow the vaccines to work.
